Dell Latitude E6430 Drivers: Windows 10 & 7 Download
The Dell Latitude E6430 is a 14-inch business laptop from the Windows 7 era that is still in daily use for office work, school and basic repair-shop jobs. After a clean Windows install, a few parts usually show up as "Unknown device": the Wi-Fi card, Bluetooth, the touchpad and the graphics chip. This page lists only the drivers that matter for this model, grouped by Windows version, with the file version and size so you know what you are downloading before you click.
About these downloads
- Every button below points to Dell's own download server (downloads.dell.com). We do not host or modify any files.
- Only the essential drivers are shown. Diagnostic utilities, WiDi, WiMAX and older duplicate packages were left out on purpose.
- Last reviewed: October 2026. If a link no longer works, open Dell Support and search with your laptop's Service Tag.
Which drivers does your E6430 need?
The E6430 shipped with different hardware options, so not every file below applies to every unit. Three quick checks save a lot of time:
- 32-bit or 64-bit? On Windows 10 open Settings → System → About. On Windows 7 open Control Panel → System. Look for "System type". Only the graphics drivers are split by bit version.
- Which Wi-Fi card? Open Device Manager → Network adapters. A name starting with "Dell Wireless 15xx" needs the Dell Wireless driver; "Intel Centrino" or a 62xx number needs the Intel driver. Install only the one that matches.
- Which graphics? Open Device Manager → Display adapters. Every unit has Intel HD Graphics 4000. Install the NVIDIA driver only if an NVIDIA chip is listed too.

No sound on Windows 10? Dell's list for this model has no separate Windows 10 audio package. Windows Update often installs a working IDT audio driver by itself. If it does not, check Dell Support with your Service Tag, or try the Windows 7 IDT package in the next section.
Dell Latitude E6430 drivers for Windows 7
Windows 7 needs more manual installs than Windows 10, including audio, USB 3.0 and Bluetooth. Note that Microsoft ended Windows 7 security updates in January 2020, so keep such a laptop away from sensitive accounts or use it offline where you can.

Recommended install order
Installing in a sensible order avoids most "device not recognized" surprises and extra reboots:
- Chipset first, then restart. Other drivers rely on it.
- Graphics: Intel HD 4000 first, then the NVIDIA driver only if your unit has an NVIDIA chip.
- Audio (Windows 7) and network drivers: LAN, Wi-Fi, then Bluetooth.
- Touchpad, card reader and USB 3.0.
- BIOS last. Plug in the AC adapter, make sure the battery has some charge, close other programs and do not turn the laptop off during the update.
Common problems and quick fixes
- Wi-Fi switch is on but no networks appear: you probably installed the wrong Wi-Fi package. Check the card name in Device Manager and use the matching Dell Wireless or Intel driver.
- Screen stuck at low resolution or looks blurry: the graphics driver is missing. Install the Intel HD 4000 driver for your bit version, then restart.
- Touchpad scrolling and gestures do not work: install the Dell Multi-Touch Touchpad driver and check the settings in Mouse properties.
- SD card is not detected: install the O2Micro card reader driver and reboot once.
- Installer says the system is not supported: you are likely using the 32-bit file on 64-bit Windows, or the reverse. Recheck "System type".
Frequently asked questions
Is the E6430 compatible with Windows 11?
Not officially. Its 3rd-generation Intel Core processors fall outside Microsoft's supported CPU list for Windows 11, which is why this page covers Windows 10 and Windows 7 only.
Do I need both the Intel and the NVIDIA graphics driver?
Only if your laptop has a discrete NVIDIA chip. Units with just Intel HD Graphics 4000 need only the Intel driver.
Is it safe to update the BIOS?
Version A21 is the BIOS listed for this model. It is safe when the update runs uninterrupted on AC power. If your laptop already runs a stable BIOS and everything works, updating is optional.
A download link is dead. What now?
Vendors sometimes move files. Open Dell Support, enter your Service Tag and download the same driver name and version from there.
