Samsung NP-NC110 Drivers for Windows XP & Windows 7 (32-bit)
The Samsung NP-NC110 is a 10.1-inch netbook released in 2011 with an Intel Atom N455 processor and Windows 7 Starter preinstalled. If you have reinstalled Windows on it, or you are restoring an old unit, you will need the matching Samsung drivers to get the screen, Wi-Fi, sound and touchpad working properly. This page lists only the essential driver packages for Windows 7 (32-bit) and Windows XP (32-bit), with the version number of each file, plus a short guide on picking the correct Wi-Fi driver and installing everything in the right order.
Samsung NP-NC110 at a glance
Specifications are based on published reviews of the NC110 (Laptop Mag, Liliputing). Exact configuration can vary by regional model code, such as NP-NC110-A01US.
Step 1: Find out which Wi-Fi chip your NC110 has
This is the part most people get wrong. Samsung shipped the NC110 with different wireless adapters depending on the region and production batch, so there is no single Wi-Fi driver for every unit. Installing the wrong one simply does nothing, so check first:
- Open Device Manager (right-click Computer or My Computer → Manage → Device Manager).
- Look under Network adapters. If the Wi-Fi adapter has no driver yet, it will appear under Other devices as “Network Controller”.
- Right-click it → Properties → Details tab → choose Hardware Ids and read the first line.
- Match the vendor code in that line:
VEN_168C— Atheros (use the Atheros package; if the adapter name starts with “Qualcomm Atheros”, try the Qualcomm Atheros package on Windows 7)VEN_14E4— BroadcomVEN_8086— Intel
Step 2: Download — Samsung NP-NC110 drivers for Windows 7 (32-bit)
These are the 32-bit packages for Windows 7, the version family the NC110 shipped with (Windows 7 Starter). With 1–2 GB of RAM, 32-bit is the practical choice on this netbook.

For a 32-bit Windows XP installation. The XP package set has no Qualcomm Atheros Wi-Fi driver; the Atheros package covers Atheros adapters.
org.downloadcenter.samsung.com). This blog does not host or modify any driver files. Samsung’s servers for older products change from time to time, so if a link fails, open the official Samsung NC110 support page and look for the same file name under Manuals & Downloads.Step 3: Install the drivers in this order
Download the ZIP files on another computer if the netbook has no working network yet, and copy them over with a USB drive. Then:
- Chipset — restart when asked.
- Graphics (Intel GMA 3150) — restart again. The screen should then run at its native 1024 × 600.
- LAN — lets you use a network cable straight away.
- Wi-Fi — only the package that matches the vendor you found in Step 1.
- Audio, then TouchPad, then Camera.
- Bluetooth — only if your unit has it.
Each ZIP needs to be extracted first. Run Setup.exe as administrator if the package has one. If it only contains driver files, use Device Manager → right-click the device → Update Driver Software → Browse my computer and point it to the extracted folder.
Troubleshooting common NC110 problems
- Blurry or stretched screen: the graphics driver is not installed yet. Install Chipset first, restart, then install the Intel graphics package.
- No Wi-Fi networks appear: make sure the wireless radio is switched on with the Fn key combination printed on the keyboard, then confirm the driver matches the vendor code from Step 1.
- Touchpad moves but cannot scroll: install the TouchPad package and restart.
- No sound: install the Audio package, then check that the speaker is not muted in the volume mixer.
- Driver installer says the device was not found: you probably chose the wrong variant. Re-check the hardware ID of that device.
Frequently asked questions
Which operating systems do these drivers support?
The packages on this page are the 32-bit Windows XP and Windows 7 drivers that Samsung published for the NC110. The netbook originally shipped with Windows 7 Starter.
Can I run a newer version of Windows on the NC110?
The drivers available for this model cover Windows XP and Windows 7 only, and a single-core Atom with at most 2 GB of RAM is a weak fit for newer Windows versions, so they are not covered here.
Why are there several Wi-Fi drivers?
Different units use wireless adapters from different manufacturers (Atheros, Broadcom or Intel). Use Step 1 to see which one yours has, and install only that package.
Do I need the Bluetooth driver?
Only if your unit has Bluetooth hardware. If Device Manager does not list a Bluetooth radio, skip it.
A download link does not work. What should I do?
Samsung occasionally reorganizes the download server for older products. Search for the file name on the official Samsung NC110 support page linked above, or leave a comment with the driver name and Windows version and we will check it.
