Samsung NP-N100 Drivers for Windows XP & Windows 7 (32-bit)
The Samsung NP-N100 is a compact netbook from the Windows XP / Windows 7 era. After a clean install, Windows usually leaves it with a low-resolution screen, no sound and no network, because the right drivers are missing. This page lists the core Samsung NP-N100 drivers you need for Windows XP and Windows 7 (32-bit): LAN, audio, graphics and Wi-Fi. Each download link points to Samsung's own download server; we do not host any files.

Before you download
- Check your Windows version. Right-click My Computer (XP) or Computer (Windows 7), choose Properties, and look for the edition and, on Windows 7, the System type. The Windows 7 drivers below are 32-bit packages.
- Get your network working first. If the netbook has no internet after a fresh install, download the LAN and Wi-Fi drivers on another computer and copy them over on a USB drive. Netbooks like this one typically have no optical drive.
- Each file is a ZIP. Extract it first, then run the setup or install file inside the folder.

Which Wi-Fi driver do I need?
- Open Device Manager (right-click Computer → Manage → Device Manager).
- Look under Network adapters or Other devices for the wireless adapter, then open Properties → Details → Hardware Ids.
- If the ID contains
VEN_8086, it is an Intel adapter. If it containsVEN_168C, it is a Qualcomm Atheros adapter. - Install the driver from the matching row above.
Recommended installation order
- Install the graphics (VGA) driver and restart.
- Install the LAN driver, then the Wi-Fi driver.
- Install the sound driver.
- Restart once more, then run Windows Update if your system still has access to it.
Troubleshooting
- Screen looks stretched or blurry: the graphics driver is not installed yet. Install it and restart.
- No sound: install the sound driver, then check the volume mixer and Playback devices to make sure the speakers are enabled.
- Wi-Fi is installed but no networks appear: check the wireless switch or the Fn key combination on your keyboard's function row, which can turn the radio off.
- The installer will not start on Windows XP: update to Service Pack 3 and try again.
- A download link does not work: Samsung has been retiring downloads for older products, so some files may become unavailable over time. Leave a comment with the driver name and we will look into it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use the Windows 7 drivers on Windows XP, or the other way round?
No. Each operating system has its own driver package with a different version, so use the list that matches your Windows.
Do I have to install every driver?
For a fully working netbook, yes: graphics, LAN, Wi-Fi (the one for your adapter) and sound. Skipping one usually leaves that function missing.
Are these files hosted on this blog?
No. The buttons link directly to Samsung's download server, so you always get the original, unmodified packages.
Good to know: Microsoft no longer supports Windows XP or Windows 7, so they no longer receive security updates. If you go online with this netbook, take extra care with what you download and open.
