ASUS N43S Drivers for Windows 7 and Windows 8 (64-bit)
This guide organizes legacy ASUS N43S-family driver packages by operating system, component, version, and download size. Use it to identify the graphics, sound, wired and wireless networking, Bluetooth, touchpad, card-reader, USB, chipset, and utility packages relevant to your laptop.
Important model check: the supplied list includes a BIOS file named N43SMAS213.zip and several packages that appear on ASUS's N43SM support page. Confirm the full model code on the laptop label or in BIOS before installing. N43SM, N43SN, and other N43-series variants should not be treated as interchangeable.
Some driver download links on this page use HTTP instead of HTTPS because the original download server does not provide a secure HTTPS connection. As a result, Google Chrome or another browser may display a warning such as "This site isn't using a secure connection and the file may have been tampered with."
What does this mean? HTTP does not encrypt the connection between your browser and the download server. This warning does not automatically mean that the file is malicious, but the file's integrity cannot be reliably guaranteed during an unencrypted transfer.
Before downloading: Make sure the link points to a trusted source, preferably the laptop manufacturer's official website. Check the file name and intended operating system. If the source cannot be verified or the browser displays a suspicious warning, cancel the download.

DownloadRecommended driver installation order
- Confirm the exact model and installed Windows edition (64-bit).
- Install the chipset / Intel INF package first where listed, then restart if the installer requests it.
- Install the matching graphics package, followed by audio and wired LAN.
- Install the wireless LAN and Bluetooth package that matches the hardware in Device Manager. If unsure, check the device's Hardware IDs rather than installing every vendor option.
- Install touchpad, card reader, USB 3.0, hotkey, and other utilities only when the laptop contains the corresponding device or feature.
- Restart Windows and check Device Manager for unresolved devices.
Before installing, extract the downloaded ZIP file and run the included installer if available. Create a restore point or otherwise back up important files before making major system changes.
BIOS update safety
The BIOS entry is firmware, not a normal device driver. Do not update the BIOS merely to make the driver list complete. Use it only when the release notes address a problem you have, the file is confirmed for your exact model, and you can follow ASUS's instructions. An incorrect or interrupted BIOS flash can make the laptop unusable. Connect AC power and do not shut the computer down during the update.
Troubleshooting missing or incompatible drivers
The download link does not work
Open the official ASUS support page, select the exact model and operating system, and check whether the package is still available. Older links can be removed or relocated over time.
Installer says the device is not supported
Stop the installation and verify the laptop submodel, Windows bitness, and the device's hardware ID. Graphics, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth packages may be offered by different vendors within the same laptop family.
Windows already installed a working driver
If a component works correctly, do not replace its driver solely because an older version appears here. Prefer a verified package that matches your hardware and operating system.
