Acer Aspire E1-531 Drivers for Windows 7 32-bit & 64-bit
Note (Updated 2026): Acer no longer hosts direct driver downloads for the Aspire E1-531 on its official support site, since this model has reached end-of-life status and Windows 7 is no longer supported by Acer's driver program. The direct download links originally listed on this page (via
global-download.acer.com) are no longer active.
If you still need drivers for this laptop, here are your best options:
- Acer's official support search — try acer.com/support and search "Aspire E1-531." Even if the model no longer appears, this confirms current availability.
- Third-party driver archives — sites like Softpedia's driver archive still mirror many of the original Acer Aspire E1-531 driver packages (audio, chipset, LAN, touchpad, VGA, wireless, BIOS), since they archived them before Acer removed official hosting.
- Windows Update / Device Manager — for basic functionality (network, display, audio), Windows 7's built-in Windows Update or "Update Driver" via Device Manager can often find a generic working driver even without the OEM package.
- Generic chipset/GPU vendor drivers — since many of the components (Intel, Realtek, Broadcom, Atheros, NVIDIA, Synaptics/ELANTECH) are used across many laptop models, you can often get compatible drivers directly from the component manufacturer's site (Intel.com, Realtek.com, NVIDIA.com, Synaptics support, etc.) by matching your exact chip model from Device Manager.
