Acer Aspire One HAPPY Drivers for Windows 7 32-bit

Acer Aspire One HAPPY Drivers for Windows 7

Note (updated): Acer has discontinued official driver hosting for the Aspire One "HAPPY" (AOHAPPY) netbook on its global support site. The direct download links originally provided in this post are no longer available. Below is the original driver list for reference, followed by working alternatives to get each driver installed on Windows 7 (32-bit).

⚠️ Acer's official driver page for this model has been removed. Use the alternatives listed below the table instead of looking for a new "official" Acer link — Acer no longer maintains downloads for this legacy netbook.

How to get these drivers now that Acer's page is gone

  1. Let Windows Update handle it first. On a fresh Windows 7 (32-bit) install, run Windows Update repeatedly and check Device Manager — most of the components above (chipset, LAN, VGA, audio) will often be matched automatically or via "Update Driver → Search automatically."
  2. Try the Wayback Machine for the exact files. The original Acer global-download.acer.com zip links from this post can sometimes still be retrieved through web.archive.org — search for the file name shown in the table above (e.g. "Audio_Realtek_6.0.1.6141_W7x86_A.zip").
  3. Use the generic chipset vendor driver instead of the OEM one. Since the underlying hardware is standard Intel/Realtek/Atheros/Broadcom/Synaptics/ALPS/ELAN silicon, you can usually install the manufacturer's generic Windows 7 (32-bit) driver package directly from that vendor's own legacy/support page rather than Acer's rebranded copy.
  4. Identify unknown devices via Hardware ID. If Device Manager shows "Unknown Device," look up its Hardware ID (right-click → Properties → Details → Hardware Ids) to find the exact chipset and search for that specific driver.

This page will be updated again if a reliable, verified replacement source for the individual driver files becomes available.
