Before you start
- Check your Windows edition. Open Control Panel → System and note the System type (32-bit or 64-bit).
- Install only what matches your laptop. The G50-70 was sold with different graphics, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, touchpad and camera options, so not every package below applies to you. The notes under each driver say who needs it.
- Starting from a clean install? Download the Ethernet or Wi-Fi driver on another computer and copy it over on a USB drive, so you can get online first.
Heads-up: Microsoft has ended regular support for Windows 7 and Windows 10, so they no longer receive standard security updates. If this laptop goes online, keep your antivirus current and avoid untrusted sites and downloads.

No Ethernet (LAN) driver is listed for Windows 10 because no valid Lenovo download link is available for it here.

Recommended installation order
Installing in a sensible order avoids missing-device warnings and repeat reboots. Restart when an installer asks you to.
- Chipset-category packages (Intel chipset, and the USB 3.0 driver on Windows 7): Windows 7 · Windows 10.
- Graphics: the Intel driver first, then the AMD driver if your laptop has AMD graphics: Windows 7 · Windows 10.
- Audio: Windows 7 · Windows 10.
- Network: Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for your adapters: Windows 7 · Windows 10.
- Input devices: the touchpad driver: Windows 7 · Windows 10.
- Card reader: Windows 7 · Windows 10.
- Camera: Windows 7 · Windows 10.
- BIOS update: only if you need it, as a separate step, with the AC adapter connected and no other installer running: BIOS update.
How to identify the right drivers for your hardware
Open Device Manager (in Windows 10 right-click the Start button and choose Device Manager; in Windows 7 right-click Computer, choose Manage, then Device Manager). Then use these checks:
- Graphics: expand Display adapters. Every G50-70 has Intel graphics, and some also show an AMD entry. Install the Intel driver first and the AMD driver only if the AMD entry is present.
- Wi-Fi: expand Network adapters and read the wireless adapter name. On Windows 10 choose the Intel package for an Intel adapter, or the Atheros, Realtek and Broadcom package for the others.
- Bluetooth: expand Bluetooth and match the maker in the same way as for Wi-Fi. If there is no Bluetooth entry, skip the Bluetooth packages.
- Touchpad: expand Mice and other pointing devices. Lenovo's touchpad package covers both ELAN and Synaptics models.
- Camera: look under Imaging devices. Lenovo's camera drivers are split by camera maker, so if one package will not install, try the other.
Tip: Anything marked with a yellow warning icon in Device Manager is a missing driver. Right-click it, open Properties → Details → Hardware Ids, and use those IDs to work out which package above it belongs to.
Troubleshooting common driver problems
No internet connection after a clean install
Download the Wi-Fi driver for your adapter on another computer (or the Realtek LAN driver on Windows 7), copy it to a USB drive and install it first. Then continue with the rest of the list.
Yellow warning icons remain in Device Manager
Install the chipset-category packages first, restart, and check again. If an item is still unknown, read its Hardware Ids and compare them with the hardware described in the notes above (card reader, camera, Bluetooth module).
Wi-Fi or Bluetooth stops working after an install
On Windows 10 the packages are split by maker, so the wrong one will not support your adapter. Check the adapter name in Device Manager, uninstall the package you tried, and install the one for your adapter's maker. Restart afterwards.
Low screen resolution or sluggish graphics
Install the Intel graphics driver first, then the AMD driver if your laptop has one, and restart after each. Windows falls back to a basic display driver until the Intel driver is installed.
The installer says no compatible device was found
This usually means a package for hardware that is not in your configuration, such as the AMD graphics driver on a laptop with Intel graphics only, or the wrong camera or Wi-Fi package for your adapter's maker. Try the alternative package for that device.
Frequently asked questions
Which Windows versions does this Lenovo G50-70 driver list cover?
It covers the packages Lenovo published for Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) and Windows 10 (64-bit). If you run Windows 8.1 or Windows 11, start with Windows Update, because no packages for those versions are listed here.
How do I know if I need the 32-bit or 64-bit driver?
Open Control Panel, choose System, and read the System type line. On Windows 7 only the Intel graphics driver is listed as separate 32-bit and 64-bit files. The other Windows 7 drivers, and the AMD graphics driver, are single packages. Every Windows 10 package on this page is for 64-bit.
Which graphics driver should I install?
Open Device Manager and expand Display adapters. Every G50-70 uses Intel graphics, and some also have an AMD graphics chip. If you see both, install the Intel driver first and the AMD driver second. If you see only Intel, skip the AMD package.
Which Wi-Fi and Bluetooth driver do I need?
On Windows 7, Lenovo lists one combined Wi-Fi package and one combined Bluetooth package that cover several card makers. On Windows 10 the packages are split: one for Atheros, Realtek and Broadcom, and one for Intel. Expand Network adapters and Bluetooth in Device Manager and choose the package that matches the maker of your adapter.
Why are some version numbers shown as "Not listed"?
Lenovo does not publish a version number for some of these packages, mostly the combined multi-vendor ones. They are still the files Lenovo links for this model.
Which camera driver should I install on Windows 10?
Lenovo splits the Windows 10 camera drivers by camera maker: one for Realtek and Sonix modules, and one for Bison and AzureWave modules. If the installer says no compatible device was found, try the other package.
Why is there no Ethernet driver in the Windows 10 list?
No valid Lenovo download link is available here for the Windows 10 Realtek LAN driver, so it is not listed. Search for the G50-70 on Lenovo Support to find it. The Windows 7 list includes the Realtek LAN driver.
Are these download links safe?
Every Download button points to Lenovo's own download server at download.lenovo.com, and nothing is re-hosted on this site. After downloading, right-click the file, choose Properties and look for a Digital Signatures tab to confirm it is signed.
A download link does not work. What should I do?
Lenovo occasionally moves or retires older files, and this is an older laptop. Search for the G50-70 on Lenovo Support, or leave a comment below so this page can be updated.
Is it safe to update the BIOS?
A BIOS update is safe when done carefully. Connect the AC adapter, close other programs and do not turn the laptop off or interrupt the update. You can check your current version by pressing Windows + R, typing msinfo32 and reading the BIOS Version line. If it already shows version 32, you do not need to run the update again.
