How to Get Working Drivers Today

Since Acer no longer hosts these files, here are current, legitimate ways to get each driver working on the Aspire E1-571:

  1. Windows Update (best first step). Go to Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates > Driver updates. Windows Update can automatically supply working audio, chipset, LAN, Wi-Fi and touchpad drivers for this hardware.
  2. Device Manager automatic search. Open Device Manager, right-click any device with a warning icon, choose Update driver > Search automatically, and let Windows pull a compatible driver online.
  3. Intel components (chipset, graphics, USB 3.0, Turbo Boost). Get current, generic Intel drivers directly from the Intel Download Center by searching your exact chipset (Mobile Intel HM77) or graphics model (HD Graphics 3000/4000).
  4. NVIDIA GeForce GT 620M graphics. Download the latest supported driver from NVIDIA's official driver page, selecting "GeForce 600M Series" and your Windows version.
  5. Realtek audio. If Windows Update doesn't install it automatically, a generic Realtek High Definition Audio driver from Realtek's own site will typically work with this laptop's audio hardware.
  6. Broadcom / Atheros Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LAN and card reader. These are usually OEM-locked, so Windows Update or Device Manager's automatic search is the most reliable route; if that fails, a driver-update utility from a reputable vendor (e.g. one built into Windows) can identify the exact chip and match a driver.
  7. Synaptics / ELAN / ALPS touchpad. Windows' built-in precision touchpad or HID-compliant mouse driver covers basic functionality; for full gesture support, check Synaptics or your touchpad brand's site for a generic driver matching your chip.
  8. Archived original files (use with caution). Third-party driver archives sometimes mirror the exact original Acer packages. For example, Softpedia's archive still lists some Aspire E1-571 packages: Always scan any downloaded installer before running it, and prefer Windows Update or the vendor sites above whenever possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did Acer remove the Aspire E1-571 drivers?

The Aspire E1-571 is an older model launched in 2012–2013. Acer periodically retires driver pages for products past their support lifecycle, which is what happened here.

Is it safe to use generic Intel/NVIDIA drivers instead of the original Acer package?

Generally yes for chipset and graphics components, since those are made by Intel and NVIDIA themselves — Acer's packages were re-branded versions of the same drivers. OEM-specific components like the card reader, Bluetooth module and touchpad are more likely to need a brand-matched or Windows Update driver.

What if a device still shows an error after trying these steps?

Check the exact hardware ID in Device Manager (Properties > Details > Hardware Ids) and search that ID together with "driver" — it will point you to the exact chip manufacturer's page even if the laptop brand no longer hosts it.
